Location: Olin Ave & Olsen Dr | Hours: Wednesday 4pm-8pm, June-Sept
After coming to Santana Row for years to shop, Le Marché is the perfect addition to bringing the community together in celebration of fresh, organic produce! I loved walking through this market on a Wednesday evening with a variety of options to choose from. The food vendor to produce ratio is definitely high here, which is expected for an evening market. Some of the produce here is a bit expensive, so I would just be aware of that before deciding to come here just for the produce. While this farmers’ market is not huge, I do suggest walking around first because there is definitely more than what you see at first glance. Try biscotti samples from Roxanne’s Biscotti, a mini pie/pastry, or some baked goods from The Midwife and the Baker. These Bay Area vendors are sure to have something for whatever mood you’re in for.
Also, cheers to making it through the mid-week with some amazing ginger beer from Ginger Lab. With four simple ingredients (soda water, fresh ginger + lemon, & raw cane sugar), their drinks definitely hit the spot on a hot summer day. Several options (all delicious, might I say) to choose from including orignial ginger, guava, and white peach flavor. Plus, you can rest assured there’s no alcohol, so go ahead and grab one for yourself and the kids. Who can say no to a guilt-free thirst quencher with anti-inflammatory benefits?! Not me!
Lastly, don’t forget to give your bathroom or gift your friend with some lovely olive/coconut oil based soaps from Soaps of 7 Flowers. The perfect balance of floral and herb notes in these soaps will leave your hands oh so fresh and nourished. They also sell toners, oils, and bath salts.
